I never realized that decorating a home office would be so much work. This is the first time that I have ever had an office in my house, so I am working hard to figure out what to do with it. One of the main things I am struggling with is picking the right desk. I found a beautiful glass desk in a local shop the other day. At first, I was convinced in was just the thing to add unique character to my office. Then, I thought more logically about it and decided it may not be the best choice, as glass is very fragile and I do have three kids at home. I am still back and forth on the desk. I am also worried about the wall art. It tends to be more expensive than I was planning for. While I really do want the place to look nice, I am hesitant to spend more than my budget on pictures.

I now life in Arkansas, I know that this is not as urban as New York but I love it. I love Arkansas the same way I love my floor rugs collection and my new home.
